Richard Lawrence Bramlett

Mr. Richard Lawrence Bramlett, 81, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010.
He was the son of the late, Lloyd and Tilea Stephenson Bramlett and was preceded in death by his son, Richard “Ricky” Bramlett on December 19, 2010 and brothers, Kenneth “Pony” Bramlett and Lloyd “Junior” Bramlett.
Richard worked for the City of Dalton Public Works for 25 years and for the Georgia State Highway Department as a Project Engineer for 23 years.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Connie Pack Bramlett of Dalton; son and daughters-in-law, Randy and Kim Bramlett and Sue Owensby Bramlett all of Dalton; grandchildren, Russ and Tiffany Bramlett of Acworth, GA., Lance and Lindsey Bramlett of Dalton; great-grandchildren, Trevor Bramlett and Avary Bramlett both of Acworth; brother and sisters-in-law, Charles and Brenda Bramlett of Dalton and Margie Bramlett of Dalton; sister, Drucilla Dantzler of Dalton; nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Monday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Chuck Harris and Gary Ballew officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday from 11 to 2 P.M.
