John Keith Franklin

Mr. John Keith Franklin, 44, of Dalton, died Monday, March 19, 2007.
He was a 1980 graduate of Dalton High School; was a National Merit Scholar to Emory University; was a graduate of the University of Houston and served in the U.S. Army in Germany with a Persian Missile Unit. Prior to his illness, John was employed at Shaw Industries as a certified internal auditor.
John is survived by his son, John Keith Franklin, II and his mother, Shari Postelle both of Rocky Face, Ga.; parents, Gene and Sherry Franklin of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Traci and Mark Turner of Ringgold, Ga.; nephew, Vann Lucas Turner of Ringgold; grandmother, Willette Galloway of North Carolina.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
The family request flowers be omitted and memorials be made to the Dalton Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 300 South Tibbs Road, Dalton, Ga. 30720. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.lovefuneralhomega.com.
