Betty Hawkins

Mrs. Betty Hawkins, of Tunnel Hill, passed away Friday, January 28, 2011 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late, George and Elizabeth Farr Long and was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Hawkins and son-in-law, Stephen Dyer.
Betty is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Pam Dyer of Rocky Face and Donna and Darrel Turner of Chatsworth; son and daughter-in-law, David and Ruthie Hawkins of Rocky Face; special grandsons, Brandon Hawkins and Andrew Hawkins of Rocky Face; sister and brother-in-law, Naomi and Larry Swanson of Dalton; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will Sunday at 3 P.M. at Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Darey Kittle, the Rev. Fred Johnson and the Rev. Bill Walker officiating.
Burial will be Tunnel Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from
11 to 2:30 P.M.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church, 1448 Pleasant Grove Rd., N.E., Dalton, Ga. 30721 or to one’s favorite charity.
