Mrs. Frances Jeanette Howell, age 71, of Dalton, went to be with her Lord, Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Hamilton Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with alzheimer’s.
She was the daughter of the late Vernon and Maude Rich and was preceded in death by her brothers, Dennis Rich and Larry Rich; sister, Evelyn Rich; mother-in-law and father-in-law, James and Vera Howell and sister-in-law, Janice Quarles.
She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Frances is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Robert “Bobby” Howell of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Jason Robinson of Ringgold; grandson, Aiden Robinson of Ringgold; sisters and brothers-in-law, Margie and Joe Williams, Wanda Sue and David Sims all of Dalton and Sara Hankins of Rocky Face; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Sue Rich of Dalton; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Pat and Eddie Powell of Dalton, James and Julie Howell of Atlanta and Jimmy Quarles of Dalton; nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Danny Cochran officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 9 a.m.
to 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association-GA. Chapter, 902 East Morris St. Dalton, GA. 30721.
