Dorothy "Dot" Stinson

Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Anderson Stinson, 87, of Nashville,TN and formerly of Dalton, died Sunday March 20, 2011 in Nashville.
She was the daughter of the late, Lacewell and Exa Anderson and was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Stinson and a brother, Billy Anderson.
She was a member of Poplar Spring Baptist Church and Grove Level Baptist Church.
Dot had the most beautiful blue eyes and never met a stranger. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. She also was able to fly a plane solo, she loved the camping and passed that love to Art and his family. She loved canning, preserving, and was well known for cake baking.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Art and Martha Stinson of Nashville; grandchildren, Rebecca Stinson (Will Wilson) and Laura Stinson all of Nashville; special nephew, Larry (Sue) Anderson and other nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be at 2 P. M. Wednesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Dr. Charlie Bridges officiating.
Burial will be in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from noon till the funeral hour at 2 P.M.
