Mills Holsomback

Mr. Mills Holsomback, age 90, of Dalton passed away Tuesday May 1, 2007.
Mills was born in Gordon County to Gilbert and Julia Burch Holsomback. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII. He was co-owner of H&H Supermarket in Dalton from 1953 to 1977 with his brother Harrell. He was also a member of the American Legion in Dalton.
Mills was preceded in death by his wife, Jonnie Holsomback in 2006; two brothers, Harrell Holsomback and Floyd Holsomback; six sisters, Clyde McEntyre, Sue Warner, Stella Scott, Nannie Bell Sutton, Mana Self and Mary King.
Mills is survived by one sister-in-law, Frankie Floyd Holsomback of Calhoun and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Thursday May 3 at 1 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Shepard officiating.
Burial will follow at Fain Cemetery in Calhoun, Ga.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at Love Funeral Home.
