Mrs. Grace Stinson Holloway, 91, of Dalton, passed away Friday, May 11, 2007.
She was the daughter of the late, Homer and Venie Stinson and was preceded in death by her brothers, Hershel Stinson, Oscar Stinson and Jack Stinson; her sister, Thelma Cargal and her husband, Joe P. Holloway; daughter-in-law, Barbara Holloway.
Grace was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church for over 80 years, where she also taught a Sunday school class for 75 years. She worked at Ruth and Doyle Florist for 30 years.
Grace is survived by her son, Floyd H. Holloway of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lynn and Tommy Crider of Rocky Face, Ga.; granddaughter and her husband, Eve and Ted Stanfield of Rome; sisters, Lillian Pinson of Chatsworth, Ga., Edna Parker and Lois Patterson both of Dalton; brother and sisters-in-law, Albert and Virginia Stinson of Dalton, Louise Stinson, Ruby Stinson and Lucille Welch all of Dalton; nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Services will be Sunday at 3 P.M. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Crider, the Rev. Bill Gardner and the Rev. Erwin Crider officiating.
Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 5 to 9 P.M.
