Alma Knowles

Mrs. Alma Mae Payne Knowles, 93, of Dalton, passed away Thursday May 19, 2011.
She was the daughter of the late Edward and Lucy Staten Payne and was preceded in death by her husband Arthur E. Knowles, Sr.; son Eugene Knowles; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Peggy Knowles; brothers, Otis Payne and Benny Payne.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and John Parker of Kingston, TN.; son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Donna Knowles of Dalton; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; step great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren; and one niece.
A special thank you to the nurses and staff of Regency Park Health Care for their love and support.
Funeral services will be at 3 P. M. Sunday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Kidd officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from noon til the funeral hour at 3.
