Mr. Richard “Rich” Williams, 59, of the Spring Place Community, went to be with his Lord, Saturday, May 26, 2007 at his residence.
He was a 1991 graduate of Tulane University; a member and deacon of the City View Church of God and was employed with Hamilton Medical Center for 13 years as a licensed clinical social worker with Westcott in-patient and out-patient facility and also worked along the side of his wife, who owns Designs by Laura florist.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Hughes Williams.
Rich is survived by his loving wife, Laura Goforth Williams of the residence; children and their spouses, Michelle and Duane Edgeman of Chatsworth, Rev. James Michael Blalock of Dalton, Colby Williams and Zachary Williams both of Colorado Springs, CO.; Mother, Mary-Jo Williams of Lander, WY.; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy Marie and Dave James of Riverton, WY.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leslie Howard and Shirley Williams of Green River, WY., Mark Evan and Fiona Williams of Gillette, WY.; grandchildren, Emily Lane Elizabeth Blalock, Lara-Beth Edgeman and Sarah-Grace Edgeman.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 A. M. at the City View Church of God with the Rev. Gerald Foster and the Rev. James Michael Blalock officiating.
Entombment will be at West Hill Cemetery with his friends and colleagues, Mike Stein, Ricky Laster, Steve Sisson, Tommy Davis, John Tippet and Mike Jackson serving as pallbearers; Honorary pallbearers will be his fellow deacons of City View Church of God.
The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to
8 P.M.
