Shirley Wilder

Mrs. Shirley Stagg Wilder, 69, of Dalton, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2007 at her residence after a brief illness. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all.
Daughter of the late, Charles and Maybelle Smith Stagg, she was a devoted christian and member of the First Assembly of God and was a dedicated employee for over 25 years with Barrett Carpets.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 50 years, Douglas Wilder of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Gayla and Jeff Kinsey of Dalton, Carla and Vassa Cate of St. Simons Island; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Marie Wilder of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Kim Stagg of Charleston, S. C.,
Fred and Peggy Stagg of La Grange, Ga.; grandchildren, Jason and Melanie Lackey, Jacob Lackey, Rebekah Wilder, Jennifer Wilder, Ashley Brindle, Abby and Shawn Downer, Vassa Cate and Wilder Cate; great-grandchildren, Noah Downer and Ian Downer; niece and nephews also survive.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Miller and the Rev. Lawrence Murphy officiating.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
