Mrs. Anna Belle “Ann” Cook Horton, 77, of Rocky Face, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late, Claude and Ida Kinsey Cook and was preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Horton; sons, Ronnie Horton and David Horton; brothers, James Cook, Sr., Leon Cook, Eugene Cook and Farris Cook.
She was member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Starr Neisler of Rocky Face; son, Donnie Horton of Rocky Face; brothers and sister-in-law, Charlie and Betty Cook of Tunnel Hill and Ervin Cook of Rocky Face; sister, Betty Cook Stennett of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Chris Burrell, Katelyn Horton and Brandy Horton; great-grandchild, Averi Burrell; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2:30 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Guffey and the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Dunnagan Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 4 to 9 P.M.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
