Ray Eaton

Mr. Ray Eaton, 77, of Chatsworth, passed away Thursday June 9, 2011 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Z. H. Eaton, Sr. and Linnie Cook Eaton and was preceded in death by his sisters, Lennie Mae Slaughter and Evelyn Eaton; brothers, ObeLee Eaton and Edward Eaton.
Ray was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was the owner of Eaton Carpets for 28 years.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Rymer Eaton of Chatsworth; son Daryl Eaton of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Brad Dixon of Rocky Face, Rhonda and Steve Hoyle of Hamilton, Ga. and Michelle and B. J. Bush of Hiwassee, Ga.; sisters, Annie Marie Jordan of Dalton and Virginia Gilbertson of Arizona; brothers, Thomas C. Eaton of Florida, Vernon Eaton, Hill Eaton, Jr. and Paul Eaton all of Dalton; grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be at 1 P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Larry Caylor and Hubert officiating.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Friday form 5 to 8 P.M.
