Mae Sirmons

Mrs. Mae S. Sirmons, 91, of Dalton, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Derrel C. Sirmons and a son, Toby.
Mae was a registered nurse and retired from working at the Whitfield County Public Health Department after 27 years. She was a member of the Dalton First United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Rebecca Sirmons of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Robert Williams of Conyers, GA., Robin and Rick Ruth of Dalton; brother, Russell Swett of Dalton; grandson, Jody Williams of Savannah, GA.; and granddaughter, Maria Williams of Deland, FL.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of the Dalton First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Robin Lindsey officiating.
Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Dahlonega, GA.
The family will receive friends in the atrium of the Dalton First United Methodist Church Wednesday from 1 to 2 P.M.
