Wilma Jean Jackson

Mrs. Wilma Jean Smith Jackson, 76, of Dalton, passed away Sunday July 17, 2011.
She was the daughter of the late John Hoke and Robbie Lee Holcomb Smith and was preceded in death by her husband, Wilton Lee Jackson; son, James Brian Jackson; brother, Tim Smith and a sister, Jane Parrish.
Jean was a member of Tunnel Hill First Baptist Church.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Jean is survived by daughters, Marla Miles of Dalton, Karen Jackson and special friend, Jerry Morgan of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Guy and Sandy Jackson of Cohutta; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Jim Mynheir of Ringgold; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Cathy Smith of FL.; Lane and Cheryl Smith of Dalton and Wayne Smith of Atlanta; grandchildren, Nicci Miles, Megan Jackson and Abigail Jackson; nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Quinton Memorial Health Care for their care and compassion.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Wednesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Dewey Boyd officiating.
Burial will follow in Colonial Hills Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from noon til the funeral hour at 2 P.M.
