Richard Nations

Mr. Richard Nations, 81, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at his residence.
He was the son of the late, Arthur and Haley Cochran Nations and was preceded in death by his wife, Dot Towers Nations; brothers and sisters.
Richard was a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of Dalton First Baptist Church and was owner and operator of Hackney Shoes and repair from 1948 to 2003.
His is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Charlie Luffman of Dalton. Grandson, Matt Luffman of Athens, GA. Sisters-in-law, Sybil Henderson, Frankie Stone and Joann Towers all of Dalton. Special Nieces, Marlene Osborne, Billie Bright and Tina Richardson. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Friday at 3 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Wilson and Chaplin Jim Herman officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Friday from noon til the funeral hour at 3.
