Debra Powell

Mrs. Debra Montieth Powell, 51, of Ft. Oglethorpe, passed away Monday, August 1, 2011 at her residence.
She was employed by the Salvation Army.
Debra is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Joey English of Lafayette, GA. and Ashley’s father, David Powell of Somerset, KY.; sisters, Jeanette Edmondson of Alabama, Glenda Haggar and Vicki Love both of Ft. Oglethorpe and Betty Scott of Florida; brothers, Mark Thompson of Virginia, Richard Thompson of Florida, David Thompson of Minnesota and Carl Thompson of California; nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be Friday at 1 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Brother Stan English officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday at The Congregation of Yahweh in Calhoun from 5 to 9 P.M.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to The Congregation of Yahweh, 215 Overlook Dr., Calhoun, Ga. 30701.
