Violet Floyd

Mrs. Violet Wofford Floyd, 91, of Dalton, passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 in Rome, GA.
Violet was a member of the Dalton First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas L. Floyd in 1987.
Violet is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Gwynne Floyd and Claudia of Rome; grandchildren, Daniel Floyd, David Floyd, Matthew Floyd, Katie Floyd and Natalie Floyd; great grandchildren, Olivia Floyd and Will Floyd; nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Cannon officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday at Love Funeral Home from noon until 2.
