Frances Johnson

Mrs. Frances Thomason Johnson, 90, of Dalton, died Sunday August 28, 2011 in Anderson, South Carolina.
She was the daughter of the late, Albert and Bertha Hinton Thomason and was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Johnson in 1943; sisters, Roxa Thomason, Mara Belle Sims and Vera Evans; brothers, David L. “Cat” Thomason, Troy Thomason, James Thomason, Clarence Thomason and Earl “Doc” Thomason.
Frances and her sister Vera were co-owners of the Two Sisters Beauty Shop in Dalton for over 50 years.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Harry and Carolyn Johnson of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Amy and Kerry McTigue of Rockville, MD, Kelly and Sandra Johnson of Anderson, SC; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Willie Mae Ward of Lafayette, GA; sister-in-law, Louie Thomason of Dalton; nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 3 P.M. at West Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Thomason officiating.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:30 P.M.
