Mr. Douglas Robetor, 51, of Dalton, Ga. passed away Saturday September 3, 2011 at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton. Doug was born in Milwaukee, Wi. and had lived in Dalton for the past eight years. He is survived by his father, Frank, and his siblings Bruce (Pam), Brian (Vahoi) and Elice and nephew Christian Robetor of Brandon and Sarasota, Fl. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara. Doug was in the floor covering business for 33 years starting in retail sales and installation to wholesale sales followed by regional and later national sales manager roles and finally as vice president for national accounts. He leaves behind many family and friends who will dearly miss his wonderful heart, concern for others and great sense of humor. In addition, he was well respected by many of his colleagues across the country for his professional knowledge and management skills in the floor covering industry.

The Robetor Family has planned for two memorial services to honor and remember Doug as there are many friends and colleagues in both North Georgia and the Tampa, Florida areas. The details known at this time are below.


Dalton Memorial Service:
Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 at 11 am Visitation followed by memorial service at 12 pm
