Robert Burchfield

Mr. Robert Wayne Burchfield, 49, passed away September 3, 2011 at Miller County Hospital in Colquitt, Ga., following a long illness.
He was the son of the late Charlie and Edna Cochran Burchfield and was preceded in death by his sister, Sherry “Peanut” Stevens of Calhoun and brothers, Danny Ray and Charles Edward Burchfield both of Dalton.
Robert is survived by his sister, Annette Kuhn of Dalton; brothers, Gene Burchfield of Tunnel Hill and Jerry Burchfield of Dalton; uncle, Darrell Cochran of Dalton; special nieces, Lisa, Rhonda, Angie and Missy; a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Memorial services will be Saturday at 3 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. George Ross officiating.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 2 to 3 P.M.
The family asks that flowers please be omitted and memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
