Michael E. Purvis

Mr. Michael E. “Mike” Purvis, 51, of Dalton, died Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Hamilton Medical Center, following a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Talley Purvis of Dalton; daughter, Lindsay Purvis of Dalton; son, Chad Purvis of Dalton; parents, Pete and Melva Purvis of Dalton; sisters, Kim Purvis of Dalton and Pam Purvis of Ellijay; mother-in-law, Eulene Talley of Dalton and the late, Ralph Talley; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Alan and Frieda Talley of Dalton; nephew and his wife, Ryan and Allison Talley of Canton and nephew, Seth Talley of Dahlonega.
Services will be Saturday at 1 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Dr. Joe Peabody officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Friday from 5 to 7 P. M.
Flowers will be accepted or the family request memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 300 West Emery St., Suite 108, Dalton, Ga. 30720.
