Lamar Duvall

Mr. Lamar Duvall, 68, of Dalton, passed away Friday September 30, 2011 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Earl and Ruth Strickland Duvall and was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Akins and infant sister.
Lamar was the founder and owner of Duvall Chemicals.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Martha Duvall of Dalton; children, Robin Rickles, Alicia Duvall, Jeff Duvall, Woody and Sheila Mullins and Wes Mullins; sisters, Bonnie Bailey and Arlene Parrish; brother, Rev. Howard Duvall; grandchildren, Tyler Whaley, Joshua Mullins, Tad Mullins, Allie Mullins and Emery Mullins; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3 P.M. at Swamp Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Matt Evans, the Rev. Mitch Phillips and the Rev. Scott Winters officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday after 5 P.M.
