Mrs. Verl Rosetta King Hambright, 93, of Dalton, passed away Saturday October 8, 2011, after a year of declining health. She was a member of Carolyn Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late, Jim and Malissie King and was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Hambright; brothers, Clyde King and Carl King; sister, Pearl Duvall and son-in-law, John Williams.
Verl is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce Williams of Dalton, Sylvia and Lamar Brown of Spring City, TN., Kay and John Sofios of Antioch, CA.; grandchildren, Robyn Wood of Monterey, CA., Scott Williams of Dalton, Adam Brown of Marietta, GA., and Kari (Greg) Sostrom of Eagleville, TN.; great-grandchildren, Brandon Williams, Tyler Sostrom, Cody Sostrom, and Jordan Sostrom; sister-in-law, Duluth King; special friends, Farris Watson and Dot Winkler.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Ridgewood Manor for their care and compassion.
Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. Monday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. James Brownlee and the Rev. Mike King officiating .
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday from 11 A. M. til the funeral hour at 1 P.M.
