Juanita Ross

Mrs. Juanita Childs Ross, 76, of Chatsworth, departed peacefully Wednesday morning October 12, 2011 at Murray Medical Center.
Juanita is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, George Ross, Jr.; daughters and sons-in-love, Paula and Ray Dilbeck, Jodi and Eddie Lowery, Shea Ross, Anna and Gregg McMullen; grandchildren, Craig and Amanda Dilbeck, Carrie Beth Lowery, April and Brian Ban, Miagan and John Cobb, Jordan McMullen and Ryne McMullen; great-grandchildren, Katy, Meredith, Kannon, Owen and Lucy; sisters, Shelia Childs White and Wanda Childs Hollis Scott; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Childs, Ruth Ann Rogers and Janice Ross; brothers-in-law, Donnie White, David Scott and Paul H. Ross; nieces and nephews.
Juanita was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Childs.
The family would like to thank Dr. Waller and the staff at the Emory Winship Cancer Center for 20 years of love and care along with all the nurses and physicians that cared for her these past few months.
Celebration of her life will be Saturday at 6 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Chatsworth with the Rev. Jeremy Colloms officiating.
Burial will be in Zion Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Friday from 3 to 8 P.M. and she will lie in state from 4 to 6 P.M. at the church before the service on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Awana Ministry at the First Baptist Church of Chatsworth, 121 W. Market St., Chatsworth, Ga. 30705.
