Betty Broadwater

Mrs. Betty Puryear Broadwater, 85, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl “Red” Broadwater in 1991; sisters Mary Frances Morrison and Jane Rainwater; brother, John Henry Puryear.
Betty is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Clay Broadwater of Rocky Face and Brian and Debbie Broadwater of Tunnel Hill; grandchildren, Claire Broadwater and Will Broadwater; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of the First United Methodist Church with Bo Thompson and Dr. Robin Lindsey officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends in the Atrium of the Church Saturday from Noon til the funeral at 2 P.M.
The family ask that flowers please be omitted and memorial be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 627, Dalton, GA. 30722-0627.
