Mamie Bond

Mrs. Mamie Westmoreland Bond, 94, of Dalton, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Wood Dale Healthcare Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband and the father of her children, Gordon Westmoreland and a son, Earnest Westmoreland. Her husband, Delbert Bond, also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Betty Lewallen of Rocky Face, Bessie Akins Miles of Ringgold, James (Cindy) Westmoreland of Apison, Tenn, Mary Cill Bone of Wartburg, Tenn, Virginia Williams of Dalton and Flora Mae Adkins of Chatsworth; step-children, Naomi (Pete) Faulknor, Vernon (Sharon) Bond, David (Mary) Bond, Wilma (Floyd) Carrell, Gene Bond and Deborah (Harold) Prater; also a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 P.M. at the Church of God of the union Assembly with the Rev. Charlie Pratt and the Rev. Lonnie Starnes officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 5 to 9 P.M.
