Mrs. Hazel Hall Laster, 77, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at her residence. She was a Para-Pro, with the Valley Point School, for many years and was also a member of the Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church.
Daughter of the late Otis and Thelma Hall and she was preceded in death by her husband,
James T. Laster; brothers and sisters, Louise Williams, Ernest Hall, Jr., Leon Hall, Caroline Hall and Linda Sinclair.
Hazel was a Godly wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she loved the Lord. She is survived by her children, Lisa and Robert Leamon, Rick and Traci Laster all of Dalton; grandchildren, Jameson and Kara Bearden, Luke Bearden, Evan Laster, Owen Laster, Brittany Leamon, Kayla Leamon, Shandre Leamon and Robbie Leamon; great-grandson, Grayson Bearden; brother and sister-in-law, Rex and Joanna Hall of McDonough, GA; caregiver, Karen Roberson and friend, Archie Leamon; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Thursday at 3 P.M. at Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Loyd Kirby and the Rev. Frank Laster officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
