Eddie Hamm

Mr. Eddie Hamm, 86, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday November 16, 2011 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late W. K. and Georgia Stokes Hamm and was preceded in death by his wife Geneva Hamm.
Eddie was a veteran of the United States Army having served during WWII. He was a deacon at Valley Baptist Church. Eddie was the owner of Eddies Upholstery, which he operated for more than 55 years.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Shirley Hamm of Dalton; grandchildren, Susan and Tony Ridley of Chatsworth and Jeff Hamm of Dalton; great-grandchildren, Bobby Lee Ridley and Ashley Ridley; 3 sisters and one brother; nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 2 P.M. Friday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Brother Jeff Hamm and the Rev. Billy Jo Cochran officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 5 to 8 P.M.
