Irene Pratt

Mrs. Irene McClure Pratt, 93, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday November 23, 2011 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 28 years, Jesse F. Pratt, Sr; sons, Jesse F. Pratt , Jr. and David Pratt; daughter Janet Purcell; grandchildren, Johnny Pratt and Amber Smith.
Irene is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Johnny Jenkins, Pam and Steve Hall, Margaret and Denny Smith and Hazel Hampton all of Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Pat Smith of Dalton, Charles and Betty Pratt of Texas, Jimmy and Jackie Pratt of Dalton, Charlie and Joy Pratt of Dalton, Johnnie and Hazel Pratt of Chatsworth and Marty Pratt and Jim Lewis of Dalton; 44 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be at 3 P.M. Sunday from the Church of God of the Union Assembly with the Rev. Dr. Dale Brewer, the Rev. Jack Giles and the Rev. Lonnie Starnes, Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday from 3 to 9 P.M.
Irene will lie-in-state at the Church on Sunday from 2 P.M. til the funeral hour at 3 P.M.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Church of God of the Union Assembly, P.O. Box 1323. Dalton, GA. 30722-1323 in memory of Irene Pratt.
