Donald Freeman

Mr. Donald Osteen Freeman, 70, of Dalton, died at his home on Thursday, December 22, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Pearl Freeman, and sisters, Macy Boone and Helen Johnston.
Donald was a sales executive in the carpet industry for over 50 years and was currently employed by Lexmark Carpet Mill, Inc. in Dalton.
He is survived by his wife, Kaye Harris Freeman of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Michael Parks of Ellijay, Ga; son and daughter-in-law, Darryl and Lisa Freeman of Tunnel Hill, Ga; step-son and spouse, Clayton and Annelle Dunn of Atlanta, Ga; grandchildren, Haley and Jenna Parks of Ellijay, Ga, step-grandchildren, Garrett and Ethan Dunn of Atlanta, Ga; brother and sister-in-law, Bruce (Pete) and Jean Freeman of Greenville, SC; sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Gene Smith of Greenville, SC; sister-in-law and spouse, Ann and Greg DeHart of Homestead, Fla; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 3 P.M. from the Dalton First United Methodist Church with Dr. Robin Lindsey officiating.
The family will receive friends in the atrium of the church from 1 to 3 P.M. prior to the service.
