Stella Jones

Mrs. Stella Dockery Jones, 69, of Dalton, passed away Saturday December 31, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William Phares Sneed & Edna Kephart Sneed, Alvin Winfield Dockery & Sallie Fricks Dockery; parents, Lewis Arthur Dockery & Ruby Sneed Dockery; brothers, William Horace Dockery and infant son, Stanley Ray Dockery.
Stella is survived by her husband, Robert Jones of the residence.
Step-daughter & son-in-law, Gloria & Danny Locke of Dalton
Grandchildren & great-grandchildren, Adam Cox & family, Faith and Lane, Marc Cox & family, Britney and Anslea, Jonathan Cox & family, Kaiden all of Dalton.
Brothers and sisters-in law, Gene A. Dockery, Sheridan & Patsy Dockery, Grace & Teddy Cook all of Murphy, NC and Arnold & Pat Dockery of Cummings, GA.
Brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carl & Susan Hunter of Dalton, Virginia Stanfield of Dalton and Mildred Land of Chatsworth.
Special niece and caregiver, Sherry Moore of Blairsville, GA.; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Tuesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Kidd and the Rev. Trammell Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from noon til the funeral hour at 2 P.M.
