Lester Keeler, Sr.

Mr. Lester Keeler, Sr., 59, of Dalton, passed away Monday January 2, 2012 at his residence.
He was the son of the late Sam and Jessie Mae Cross Keeler and was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Barrett Keeler.
Lester was a member of North Whitfield Baptist Church and was employed with Mohawk for 38 years.
He is survived by his children and their spouses, Scott and Candi Keeler of Dalton, Kay Buffington and Cindy Peek of Tunnel Hill, Pam Cochran of Chatsworth and Larry and Ann Kendall of Dalton; special “son”, Danny Cochran of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Ina Keeler of Resaca, Roy Lee “Jughead” and Diane Keeler of Chatsworth and David and Janice Keeler of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Justin Keeler, Austin Stafford, Braden Keeler, Steven Blassingame, Chris and Stephanie Jones, Sandi Defore, Nichole Kendall, Jamie Kendall, Jessie Lloyd, Beth Kendall and Johnna Smith; great-grandchildren, Chloe Andes, Tanner Lloyd and Kinsley Kay Jones; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. Thursday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Cochran officiating.
Burial will following Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 to 9 P.M.
