W.L. "Dub" Hammontree

Mr. W.L. “Dub” Hammontree, 63, of Dalton passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his father, W.A. Hammontree.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was a Purple Heart recipient.
Dub is survived by his mother, Betty Hammontree of Chatsworth; special friend, Judy Bird of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Hugh Cunningham of Chattanooga, TN; niece, Andria Sheram; nephew, John Crumbley; loving cousins, great-nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 A.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Goss officiating.
Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Chattanooga at 12:30 P.M. with full military honors.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday
from 5 to 8 P.M.
