Ernest B. Kilpatrick

Mr. Ernest B. Kilpatrick, 81, of Dalton, died Thursday, August 9, 2007.
Ernest was born in Sweetwater, Tn. on June 6, 1926 and was a veteran of the United States Army having served in W W II and the Korean conflict.
He was the son of the late, Elias and Elizabeth Shoemaker Kilpatrick and was preceded in death by his sister, Mae Shepherd.
Ernest is survived by his three daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra and Ambrose Havey of Bedford, TX., Joan Kilpatrick Kirby of Soddy Daisy, TN. , Pat Kilpatrick Segars of Rocky Face; brother, Arnett Kilpatrick of Riceville, TN.; sisters, Mabel K. Young of Niota, Tn., and Lorene Haire of Chattanooga, TN.; grandchildren, Peter Havey, Elizabeth Havey, Kasey Smith, Kalee Parker, Joshua Kirby, Tabitha Webb, Kurtis Segars, Andrew Segars, and Tony Segars; great-grandchildren, Ella Havey, Raynor Golston, Gauge Kirby and Elias Kirby; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday at 11 A.M. at the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tn. with the Rev. Ambrose Havey officiating.
