Mrs. Gayla Evette Hope Cole, 48, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday January 24, 2012 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Cole and maternal-grandfather, John Hope and maternal-grandmother, Lucille Gibson.
Gayla is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Starla and Dewayne Willis of Zephyrhills, FL.; granddaughter, Ashlyn Walden of Zephyrhills; mother and father, Deedra Hope and George Weaver of Chatsworth; sister and brother-in-law, Charity and Brigam Young of Crandall; brother, Jeff Weaver of Chatsworth; mother-in-law, Carolyn Wells of Dalton; aunts and uncles, Debbie and Lamont, Keith Hope, Lecia and Ray Wagonjack; cousins, John S. Hope, Jason Hope, Andrea Hope Lamoureux, Wendy Hope Farhat, Melissa Stringer, Bent Wagonjack and Brad Helton; niece and nephews.
At the family request Gayla was cremated.
A memorial service will be Saturday at 3 p.m. from Ray’s Chapel Church with the Rev. Jackie Webb officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday from 1 p.m. til the service at 3.
