Bobby Burnette

Mr. Bobby G. Burnette, 72, of Rocky Face, passed away Monday, January 30, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Marion “M.D.” Burnette and Annie Mae Pilcher Burnette and was preceded in death by his brother, Coleman Burnette and a sister, Barbara Burnette.
Bobby was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Newman of Rocky Face; son and daughter-in-law, Brennon and Charity Burnette of Lafayette, GA.; grandchildren, Jacob, Aaron, John, and Kyla Burnette; sisters and brothers-in-law, Norma and Douglas Jackson of Dalton, Betty and Robert Collins of Resaca, Thera Kinney of Dalton, Connie Long of Resaca and Wanda and Steve Simpson of Kempton, IL.; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Rilla Burnette of Calhoun; Kenneth and Juanita Burnette, Winfred and Dimple Burnette, Nathan Burnette and Donna Ivester all of Dalton, Clay Burnette of Columbia, SC.; special friend, Shufford Smith of Dalton; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Thursday from Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Chuck Harmon and the Minister Doyle Partin officiating.
Burial will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m.
