Dorothy Newberry

Mrs. Dorothy Kitchings Newberry, 91, of Dalton, passed away Thursday February 16, 2012 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Claude (C. B.) and Mary G. Hardin Kitchings and was preceded in death by her husband, W. W. (Dall) Newberry, Jr., sisters, Lucille Pritchard and Bessie Anderson; brothers, C. B. Kitchings, Jr. and Charlie Kitchings.
Dorothy was a bookeeper and worked in the Family business at Newberry Motor and Equipment.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Harry Lee and Sandra Newberry, Webster and Martha Newberry, Elaine and Eric Painter, and Kenneth Newberry and Melissa Laster all of Dalton; grandchildren, Tara and John Hurst of Marietta, Tonya and Kevin Graham and David Newberry all of Dalton, John and Amanda Weir of Canton, Ga., Shaunna Anderson of Scottsdale, Az., Stephanie and Stephen Reed of Grovetown, Ga., Kenny Newberry and Heather Wilkins and Josh and Kylie Laster all of Dalton; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 3 P.M. Saturday from West Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Jenkins officiating.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 11 a.m. til2:30 p.m.
