Geraldine Chesnutt

Mrs. Geraldine Roberts Chesnutt, 90, of Dalton, passed away Thursday March 8, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late, James B. and Bertie Williams Roberts and was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Chesnutt; son, William “Tommy” Chesnutt; brothers, Ed Roberts, Willard Roberts, James Roberts and Bud Roberts.
Geraldine was a member of the Dalton First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her granddaughter and her husband, Amber and Robert Harris of Marietta, GA; daughter-in-law, Debbie Chesnutt of Dalton; great-grandchildren, Sarah Katherine Harris and Hadley Lynn Harris; sisters-in-law, Ruby Roberts and Dolly Roberts both of Dalton; nieces, Ginger Robinson of Dalton, Kaye White of Enterprise, AL, Judy Kelly of Dalton and Sandra McCall of South Lake, TX; special family friends, Dot Joiner of Chattanooga and Mike and Carol Cook of Palm Beach Shores, FL.
Funeral services will be at 11 a. m. Monday in the Chapel of the Dalton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Cannon and the Rev. Dr. Billy Nimmons officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends in the Atrium of the First Baptist Church on Monday from 9 a.m.until the funeral hour at 11 a.m.
