David Junior Wimpey

Mr. David Junior Wimpey, 61, of Dalton, passed away Monday March 12, 2012 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Kirk Wimpey and his grandparents, Ruby and John Kirk.
David was of the Baptist Faith. He loved hunting with his father and brother and loved taking his grand-babies fishing, to David it was a family gathering. He also loved spending time at Lake Weiss.
David is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Carolyn Cross Wimpey of Dalton; his children, John David Wimpey, Jennifer (Shawn) Ellis and Scottie Allen (Angelina Walker) all of Dalton; father, Nathan Wimpey of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Larry L. and Cheryl Wimpey of Dalton; grandchildren, Austin White, Abby White, Anslee Lamberth and her father Will Lamberth, Aedyn Ellis, Bobby Allen, Tommy Allen and their mother Ashley Allen and nieces, Shelly Wells and Tiffany Gable both of Dalton; his beloved pet, Lilly Wimpey; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Brenda DeFriese, Lee Roy and Sheryl Cross and Darren and Rita Gamlen all of Chickamauga; mother-in-law, Marie Cross of Chickamauga.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Coulter Cemetery in Walker County, Georgia.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 5 to 9 P.M.
