Clyde E. Tubby Foster

Mr. Clyde E. “Tubby” Foster, 59, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Clyde H. Foster and Betty Foster; mother and step-father, Essie Lou Welch and Harland Welch.
Tubby was a member of City View Church of God and attended Piney Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Foster of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Steve McGuire of Rocky Face, Melinda Gail “Lynne” and Chris Stafford of Crandall; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Cezary Bukolt, Kay and Freddie McClure, Bennie and James Bruce, Regina and Paul Carrell, Rita and Billy Edwards, Diane and Vernon Davis, Jean and Keith Newton, Patricia Ledford and Tonya Condra: brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Tish Goforth, Harold T. and Lisa Foster, David Welch; grandchildren, Bethany McGuire, Victorria “Torri” and Chistian Stafford; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Services will be Friday at 4 P.M. from the City View Church of God with the Rev. Gerald Foster, the Rev. Larry Jenkins and the Rev. Robert Staten officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery with Johnny Kendrick, Donald Bowen, Kymon Farner, Paul Davis, Gabe Carrell, Chaston Carrell, Nabrasson Carrell and Mark Cook serving as Pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M.
