Evelyn Patterson

Mrs. Evelyn Jones Patterson , 90, departed this life on March 19, 2012. She lived in the Antioch and Lakeview Communities for many years, and most recently at Regency Park.
Evelyn was a loving wife, devoted Mother and good friend to many. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and an active member of the Joy Sunday School Class.
Preceding her in death was her husband, James Patterson; her parents, Wiley and Buna Jones; her sister, Audrey Jones Patterson of Blue Ridge, Georgia; and brothers Theodore “Ted” Jones of Signal Mountain, Tennessee; Woodward Jones of Cleveland, Tennessee; and Robert Jones and Daniel Jones of Dalton.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Melle and Jim Cleghorn of Rocky Face; Elaine and Huck Forrest of Knoxville, Tennessee; Lori and Ken Hilley of Athens, Tennessee; and one son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Sandy Patterson of Woodstock, Georgia.
Grandchildren include Katherine Cleghorn Warman of San Antonio, Texas; Krista Cleghorn Holtzclaw of Dalton; Brian Forrest of Louisville, Kentucky; and Keely, Josh, and Seth Patterson of Holly Springs, Georgia. Great-grandchildren, Mallory and James Warman of San Antonio, Texas; Rand and Claire Holtzclaw of Dalton; and Gavin, Lyles, and Layla Forrest of Louisville, Kentucky. She is also survived by one brother, Wiley Jones of San Jose, California and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 23 between the hours of noon and 2:00 p.m. in the Atrium of the First Baptist Church with the Funeral immediately following at 2 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
