Brian "Buddy" Mayo

Mr. Brian "Buddy" Lamar Mayo, age 76, died Friday March 23, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Georgia.
Buddy was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late William Clarence Mayo and Lena Lois Mayo.
Buddy was an outstanding scholar and 1954 graduate of City High School. He also attended Auburn University and the University of Tennessee.
He is preceded in death by brothers William Mayo, Earl Mayo, Ivan Mayo, Jack Mayo, Wayne Mayo and sister Peggy Racano.
Buddy is survived by his brother Ronald Mayo, his children Kimberly Mayo, Brian Mayo, Jr., Gerald Mayo, his grandchildren Dylan Mayo, Carly Cox, Jack Cox, Will Cox and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is scheduled Monday March 26, 7:00 pm at Fellowship Bible Church located at 2044 Dug Gap Road in Dalton.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Emory University School of Medicine Body Donor Program ,Department of Cell Biology, 1648 Pierce Drive Atlanta, GA 30322-3030 are requested.
