Charles Lamar Montgomery

Mr. Charles Lamar Montgomery, 72, of Dalton, passed away Thursday April 19, 2012.
He was the son of the late, Julius and Lovie Dellray Mitchell Montgomery and was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Virginia Godfrey Montgomery; infant daughter, Sandra Lee Montgomery; grandparents, Edgar G. and Nancy Rebecca Mitchell and Sally and John Montgomery.
Charles is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne and Randall Webb of Chatsworth and Cynthia and Charles Frank of Estill, SC; granddaughter (raised as a daughter) Heather Anne (Erik) Moore; grandchildren, Eric Daniel (Fannie) Sewell, Rachel Leighanne (Gerald “Punkin”) Champion, Matthew Derrick Frank and Jonathan Michael Frank; great-grandchildren, Noah Blake Sewell, Jacob Nathaniel Sewell, Ryleigh Makenna Champion and (Gerald) Ethan Champion; sister, Ruby Davis of Dalton; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Grove Level Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Saturday from 1 P.M. until the funeral hour at 3 P.M.
