Janet Hartley

Mrs. Janet Whittle Hartley, 79, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Clemmie Henderson Whittle and was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Charles Whittle, Virginia (Betty) Whittle Ward, Martha Sue Whittle Kimber and Johnny Whittle.
Janet is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Eugene Hartley of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Hartley Cribben and David of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Rickey Hartley and Teresa of Dalton; grandchildren, Amanda Brown Patton, David Hurd, Michael Hurd, Andrew Hartley and Rickey Hartley, II; 11 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a special cousin, Marlene Schneider.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. George Nicholson officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
