John Edward Norton

Mr. John Edward Norton, 80, of Dalton passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, sisters and grandson, Justin Campbell.
John is survived by his loving wife, Betty Barr Norton of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Randy Parson of Decatur, IL. and Wilda and Earl Hinely of Fayetteville, AR; step-children, Beth and J. R. Whaley of Chatsworth and Jerry Presley of Dalton; sisters, Liz Norton of Chattanooga and Inez Cross of California; special grandson, Joseph Campbell; other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Friday at 3 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Wood officiating.
Burial will be West Hill Cemetery with American Legion Post # 112 in charge of graveside rites.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Friday from noon to 3 P.M.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials may be made to Crown View Baptist Church, 502 West Tyler St., Dalton, Ga. 30720.
