Mary Kay Kramp Humphreys

Dr. Mary Kay Kramp Humphreys, 68, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Jack and Viola Mehan, and was also preceded in death by her step-mother, Josephine Mehan; sister, Margaret Mehan; Brother: Jack Mehan.
Mary Kay was a loving, wife, mother, sister and friend. She was a gifted teacher and was devoted to her students. She taught High School (Latin and American History) and she later taught American History and Integrated Art and Humanities at Alverno College in Milwaukee , WI., The University of Tennessee- Knoxville, and Dalton State College. She also worked with Colleges and faculty on all aspects of learning and teaching. She held degrees from St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN, St. Mary’s College, Winona, WI and a Ph.D. from The University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
She is survived by her husband, W. Lee Humphreys of the residence; sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Karyn Kramp and Brian Kramp all of Milwaukee; her former husband, Ralph Kramp of Mikwakuee; Step-daughter, Laurel Humphreys of Knoxville; step-son, Chris Humphreys of Playa del Ray, Ca.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Barbara Mehan of Castro Valley, Ca, Terry Mehan of Hammond, In, Tim and Anne Mehan of Pickerington, OH.; sister-in-law, Pam Mehan of Pickerington, OH.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cecilia and Bill Johnson of Clovis, CA.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roy and Linda Humphreys of Scotts Valley, AZ.; grandchildren, Cassidy Kramp, Connor Kramp, Collin Kramp; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday at noon from St. Josephs Cathliocs Church with Father J. D. Triujillo officiating.
