Frank Edward Long

Mr. Frank Edward Long, 81, of Dalton, passed away Saturday May 19, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Long and a daughter, Betty Joann (Cissy) Vaughn.
Frank was a veteran of the United States Marines and was a retired Law Enforcement Officer.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Bailey Long of Dalton; sister, Lois Quarles of Lafayette; granddaughters, Angel Shelton of Helen, GA and Lacey Vaughn of Dalton; two great-grandchildren, Landon Dale and Olivia Dale both of Dalton; special nephew Ben Long, Jr.; several other nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Stan Lester and the Rev. Bruce Edwards officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m.
