Mrs. Minnie Miller Koplan, 91, of Dalton, passed away, Wednesday September 26, 2007. She was the daughter of the late, Isaac and Ida Pinchuck Miller and was preceded in death by her husband, Leo J. Koplan; son, Stephen J. Koplan and her seven brothers and sisters. Along with her husband, Minnie was a founding member of Temple Beth-El. She ws a life long member of Hadassah, a national Jewish women's organization. From 1950 to 1968 she and her husband owned and operated the Economy Dept. Store on Hamilton St. Minnie was loving wife, mother and friend, who loved to cook and entertain and always had a green thumb for growing flowers, plants or just working in her yard. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Irwin and Joan Koplan of Ringgold, Allan and Nitza Koplan of Birmingham; Sister-in-law, Bessie Koplan of Daytona Beach, Fl.; Grandchildren, Kara Koplan, Heather Koplan, Denise Koplan and Renee Koplan; Nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rabbi Elaine S. Schnee officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 12:30 to 2
P.M.
