Mildred Schievelhud

Mrs. Mildred Sloan Schievelhud, 87, of Dalton passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Q. Sloan in 1975 and her son, Lane R. Sloan in 1987.
Mildred is survived by her husband, Charles Schievelhud of Dalton; Judy Bagley Pair and Glenn of Dalton(whom Mildred and Charles called their adopted family); step-children, Karen and Bill Haley and Steve Schievelhud all of Chattanooga; nieces, Cindy Swinford of Dalton and Marti Cornwell of Chattanooga.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Dewey Boyd and the Rev. Keely Hasty officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 1 to 2 P.M.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials may be made to the Mill Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 178, Rocky Face, Ga. 30740.
