W. Billy Richards

Mr. William “Billy” Richards, 79, of Dalton, died Wednesday, October 3, 2007. He was the son of the late, Elmer and Adell Brackett Richards and was preceded in death by his daughters, Judy Richards and Diane Richards. He was a member of the Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church.
Billy is survived by his wife, Frances Ray Richards of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Kim Richards of Chatsworth; step-son, James Brown of Ft. Oglethorpe; sisters, Leah Ray of Dalton and Juanita Brown of Ft. Oglethorpe; grandchildren, Tracy Brown Rollins, Makenna Richards and Brennen Richards; great-grandchildren, Matthew Rollins, Meri Rollins, Maddie Rollins and Molly Cate Rollins; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services wil be Friday at 3 P.M in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Dr. Danny Cochran and the Rev. Ronald Guffey officiating.
Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
